ROSANA EXPOSITO

Rosana Expósito is a fashion designer based in Glasgow and Bilbao. Rosana’s work is an exploration of sustainable practices in garment making and a celebration of Scottish materials and craftsmanship.        All wool accessories in the collection are made in Scotland from natural fibres and surplus yarns. Working primarily with Shetland wool, Rosana creates her signature wool accessories by slightly felting the wool after it has been knitted to create a fibrous and tactile final result. The brand launched in July 2019 and focuses on making clothes and accessories from ethically sourced natural fibres, and deadstock/vintage fabrics. As is the nature of using surplus wool that often is available in small quantities the colour palettes of the collection are ever-changing but almost always inspired by a moody Scottish landscape.
