ROSA PARK

Rosa Park is an artist, illustrator and ceramicist. Her ceramic works are inspired by her drawings and writings. Rosa’s work is often centered on nature, and relationships with animals or loved ones that she encounters in everyday life. Her works may appear cheeky and kitsch, and she hope they can also console and bring a smile to people, much like how creating art has a healing effect on the artist herself. Her favorite part of the process is choosing colors, and she often draw inspiration from retro magazines and children's toys.  
     Recently, she launched ‘Coolest Slug’ which is a brand inspired by the idea that, among ordinary snails carrying fancy shells on their backs, a slug without a shell actually looks cooler. It’s as if it is saying, ‘I’m awesome just as I am, and so are you.’ Rosa like’s to make little funny things we can use in daily life. She hopes that those who use her work will think of this fun and bold idea whenever they use the Coolest Slug items.
