JACOB HEATON

Jacob Heaton is a graphic designer and (sometimes) visual artist based between Glasgow and Stockport, Greater Manchester.
Creating works existing between both design and art, he explores space, time and letters throughout his work. His design practice encompasses a wide variety of topics, based on research and investigation of contemporary aesthetics, politics and structures of power. These themes are realized through narrative-based projects, mostly consisting of self-published and self-initiated exercises in print, authorship and typography. He is currently in his third year at the Glasgow School of Art, where he studies communication design – specialising in graphic design. Before this, he studied at the Manchester School of Art.
