BRUCE HAMILTON

Bruce is the third generation of his family to work in the timber trade and he has worked in the furniture industry since leaving school. On completing his apprenticeship as a chair maker Bruce went on to work for various companies in Glasow, gaining sound knowledge of all aspects of furniture construction.
      In the spring of 1991 Bruce realised an ambition an established his own business Bruce Hamilton Furniture Makers. The business was set up to provide high quality handmade furniture, specialising in one of bespoke pieces, small batch production and reproducing furniture designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. With nearly 35 years in business Bruce has completed many notable commissions, a selection of his work can be seen on his website www.brucehamilton.co.uk
